Innovation Hive is a private non-profit organization located in Greece, specialized in the fields of research and innovation. Our ambition is to bring solutions to social issues by the use of open-science and co-creation methodologies. All range of our activities are aiming to the application of innovative, practical, sustainable, business-like approaches which achieve positive social and/or environmental change and enhance the economic and social cohesion of European societies. In addition, we provide solutions to entrepreneurships in order to achieve growth and sustainability. We are ambitious that through the promotion of circular economy concepts we can deliver benefits such as reducing pressure on the environment and improving the security of the supply of raw materials. The social part of circular economy could be integrated through the increasing of competitiveness of businesses and stimulating innovation in order to boosting economic growth and creating new jobs in the region. The engagement of stakeholders from industry, science and society is aiming to create links between the businesses, the academia and the civic actors in order to develop a combination of knowledge, skills, tools, values and motivation. Thus, through our actions we promote sustainable production and consumption and prepare the society and the relevant stakeholders in order to adapt new sustainable models with the aim to achieve the sustainable development goals that have been set by the European Commission.
